Second Impression is Critics!

Their mutton biryani was amazing, which made me invite the whole family to try eating here… and that was my first impression.

A year passed by and I convinced my wife to try eating here…

We ordered green chili chicken : As filipinos, the spiciness kicked in and taste was not satisfying but still made a handful on our stomach especially my wife is a picky eater.

Next was my all time favorite butter chicken : It was not as buttery as I expected with my no.1 cafeteria yet the sweetness was there. The chicken was a bit hard to chew but still made me full.

Nuggets was crunchy but taste like frozen ones we buy at the mall, fries was expectedly same with all cafeteria, soggy, dry and unappetizing but thats for my daughter so i didnt have precise critic about it.

The soup was tasty and shocking since most cafeteria is not serving any, it was my first time. It taste like more on the spices or powder but it was good since i have nothing to compare with.

Service was amazing. They now have 2 filipinas to deal with their hospitality and miscommunication reviews fixed. Very attentive and caring. Kudos for them. Cashier was very smiley … He improves the atmosphere.

Dine in overall is great! Cool aircon and attentive staffs just the space is too cramped since its almost full.

A must try!

My Opinions are based on my taste and experience with different cafeterias. We are filipinos, and we dont know how it should be cooked or the proper taste should be.

So try it… we dont have the same preference of taste. 🙂

5th try(November 2023): The recipe seems to be off, literally the mango falooda, 110% different from all the cafeterias we’ve been through… the chef needs to know the difference between the flavours and the ingredients to place into the food. (Down to 3stars)

6th try (January 2024): ordered green chili chicken, it was hard and cold seems like a day or two yr old cooked chicken just reheated in a microwave due to the dryness of meat… and unfortunately, an unsanitary incident happened. We had it reported by the waitress, and they offered to make a new one, however… we just lost our appetite… the good news was: it was taken out on our bill and was offered a newly cooked food. Bad news: The staff was unapologetic, and there was too much pride within them. 😞 it felt like we were the ones responsible for the unsanitary incident. But anyways, hopefully, they can revert things back and train the staff to be more hospitable from the beginning and in the end. You really have the potential to battle with seashell and eat&drink cafeterias.

Halais has been my go-to for consistently delicious food. Whether dining in or ordering through the Smiles app, the quality never disappoints. The dishes are flavorful and always prepared with care.
One of the highlights of my experience is the delivery service, particularly Zyed, the delivery guy. Zyed is incredibly efficient and always delivers with a smile. His kind demeanor and professionalism make every interaction pleasant.
